Scheduling

As it is getting closer to schools opening up, we have to keep in mind the importance of scheduling and dedicating specific time slots to studying. The best time to get started is now, in August, where you are starting to feel the pressure, and the stress of it all. So the best thing you can do is to just start planning and getting started on preparing material for effective studying. If you have not yet invested in a resource for preparing you for the DAT, you should do it now. I would suggest getting DATBootcamp, as it is very holistic in terms of material and representative of the material that you are expected to know. First, start with getting familiar with content, biology, chemistry and so on. Then move on to practicing reading comprehension and PAT. I would suggest to get on PAT as soon as possible. PAT is the only section that gets better with time, and practice. You don't even have to worry about getting perfect on your PAT practice tests, if you just keep doing the PAT tests you will get better, and automatically you will devise a strategy to tackle this part. Next, I would say avoid doing full length tests, just do one or two a week or two prior to your exam. Lastly, I have devised strategy ideas for RC and PAT for you that will be uploaded this week, as well as a calendar schedule that will be uploaded for your reference to study more effectively, realistically and above all not to let this drain your energy.
